Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Ameris Construction Co. (“Ameris,” “we”) collects through amerisconstruction.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect very little: only what you choose to send us, and basic technical data needed to run the site.

Information you give us

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, project type and message, and your company name and phone number if you include them. We use this information to respond to you and to discuss your project.

The form sends your message by email to our team and sends you a confirmation email. We use Resend, an email delivery service, to send both. The website doesn't store your message in a database; we keep it in our email as ordinary business correspondence.

If you email us directly, for example to return a subcontractor pre-qualification form, we handle that information the same way.

Information collected automatically

• Hosting. The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, its systems record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and when, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages are visited, which sites referred visitors, and general information such as browser, device type and country. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you personally.
• Spam protection. To block automated submissions, the contact form briefly checks how often a submission's IP address has used the form. That record is held only for a few minutes.

Cookies and third-party content

This site doesn't use cookies for tracking or advertising, and it doesn't store anything in your browser.

Some project pages include YouTube videos. The preview image for each video loads from YouTube's servers. The video player itself loads only when you click play, and uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Once you play a video, Google's privacy policy applies to that video.

The site links to other websites, such as our social media pages and news articles about our projects. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

How we share information

We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers described above (Vercel and Resend) so they can run the site and deliver email for us, or when required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as they're useful for responding to you and for our business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy laws, and we'll honor those requests.

Because we don't track visitors across other websites, the site doesn't respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

Children

This site is for businesses and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we limit who can access the information you send us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
